Karolina Baines Jewellery is handmade and due to the unique nature of the products, no two items are exactly the same.  Each piece is subject to minor variations in size, shape, colour and appearance.

While every effort is made to provide accuracy in all depictions of Karolina’s jewellery as well as the descriptions provided, slight variations may occur between the pieces depicted and those provided, e.g. images may not be actual size and not every device may display colours accurately, etc.  Please refer to individual product dimensions provided for the actual size of each item.

By ordering any products from Karolina Baines Jewellery, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability of goods ordered. Karolina Baines reserves the right to refuse an order at any time.

When ordering rings, it is a customers’ responsibility to ensure that they ordered the correct size. For ring sizing advice, please contact Karolina directly via email

Karolina welcomes commissions.  If you would like to commission Karolina to make a bespoke piece of jewellery or have seen anything on her website that you would like personalised, please contact her with your idea. Karolina requires a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your special commission. Once an order has been started, it cannot be cancelled. Upon completion of the order, the remaining 50% must be paid before the commission can be posted to you or collected.

Karolina Baines Jewellery reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. Every effort has been made to ensure prices are correct at the time of purchase; however, Karolina Baines Jewellery reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of a pricing error.

All products remain the property of Karolina Baines Jewellery until full payment is made. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order. Shipping costs and payment fees are added before confirming the purchase.

All transfers conducted through Karolina Baines Jewellery are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways, unless requested otherwise, to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption.

Karolina also accepts banks transfers. Please contact Karolina if you would like to pay via BACS.

Karolina Baines Jewellery does not hold any customer card details and will never pass your details on to anyone. Please read the Privacy Policy for full details.

All items are handcrafted by Karolina in her Edinburgh Studio. Currently, most items are made to order, therefore please allow at least 3 weeks for your item to be shipped. Items which are held in stock will be dispatched within 3-5 working days. Please check the specific delivery times for each individual product listed on their individual product pages.

If you would like to order an item to arrive for a specific date, please contact Karolina directly and as far as is reasonably possible, she will do her best to accommodate your request.

UK Deliveries: £6

International Deliveries:  £10

UK deliveries are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery; a fully insured, trackable service. Items will be received the day after dispatch.

International deliveries will be sent via Royal Mail AirSure or International Signed For.  Deliveries within Europe take 3-5 working days and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world. If you are ordering before Christmas, please consult the Royal Mail website for last shipping dates.

Please note delivery charges do not include any import duties, sales taxes, or other customs charges. These are the sole responsibility of the customer.

All deliveries will require a signature upon arrival so please bear that in mind when providing your delivery address.

Karolina Baines Jewellery cannot be held responsible for items that are lost or delayed in transit.

If your delivery has been delayed please contact Karolina and she will provide you with a tracking number.

Karolina hopes that you will be delighted with your jewellery. However if for whatever reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, most items can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receipt provided they are unworn and in their original condition.
Certain items are not eligible for refund or exchange:

• Earrings. Due to reasons of hygiene, Karolina Baines Jewellery cannot accept returns or exchanges on earrings unless they are faulty.
• Special Orders. Karolina also cannot accept returns or exchanges on specially commissioned, customised or personalised items, unless they are faulty. Specially commissioned or personalised items are non-stock items which are made to order, and include designs, colours, metals, and sizes which are not in stock. When placing an order on such an item, you confirm that you are in agreement to this returns policy when you pay the deposit.

If your goods arrive in a faulty or damaged condition you must inform Karolina within 7 days of receipt and she will assist in resolving any issues as quickly as possible. Items which are found to be faulty will be repaired, replaced or refunded as appropriate. Wilful, malicious damage or negligence will void any rights you have to take advantage of the refund or exchange policies.

Each item must be returned in their original packaging along with proof of purchase. Once the item is received, a refund or exchange will be offered to the full value of your purchase. All refunds will be credited to the customer by the original method of payment within 14 days.

You are responsible for the cost and safe return of the item(s). Please ensure items for return are packaged safely and posted using a delivery service that can be tracked and insures the full cost of the items. Karolina cannot be held responsible for returns that are damaged or lost in transit.

Shipping fees will not be refunded unless the item you received is faulty.

Please contact Karolina by email as soon as possible if you intend to return or exchange items.

The ‘Karolina Baines’ Gift Certificate is available to purchase in British Pounds Sterling only.
Gift Certificates purchased can only be redeemed through our website at karolinabaines.com or at Karolina’s stand at the Goldsmiths’ Fair.
Gift Certificates expire two years from date of purchase.
The ‘Karolina Baines’ Gift Certificate can be used as full or part payment for any purchase and does not have to be used in full at any one time.
Gift Certificates cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
If a product is returned to us that has been purchased using a Gift Certificate, the value will be refunded back onto that Gift Certificate, or a new Gift Certificate will be issued.
Offer codes cannot be used to purchase gift certificates.
We reserve the right to amend or withdraw a promotion without notice. For all enquiries, please contact via email.

Orders must be cancelled or amended within 24 hours of purchase. If you no longer wish to proceed with your purchase you must contact Karolina via email.
